Formula and how it works
Example with real numbers
Here is the SIP Calculator — Systematic Investment Plan using the default values shown in the calculator above:
Inputs
| Monthly SIP (₹) | 10,000 |
|---|---|
| Expected return (% per year) | 12 |
| Years | 15 |
| Annual step-up (%) | 0 |
Results
| Future value | ₹50,45,760 |
|---|---|
| Total invested | ₹18,00,000 |
| Estimated gains | ₹32,45,760 |
With these inputs the calculator returns Future value: ₹50,45,760. Change any value in the calculator to see how the result moves.
What if you change one input?
Sensitivity check: raising Monthly SIP (₹) from 10,000 to 12,000 (about 20% higher) and leaving everything else as in the example above changes the results like this:
| Result | Example | After the change | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| Future value | ₹50,45,760 | ₹60,54,912 | +20% |
| Total invested | ₹18,00,000 | ₹21,60,000 | +20% |
| Estimated gains | ₹32,45,760 | ₹38,94,912 | +20% |
The input that moves the result most is the one to check twice. Change it in the calculator above to test your own case.

Frequently asked questions
Are SIP returns guaranteed?
No. Mutual fund returns depend on markets; the rate here is an assumption.
Which Pakistan tax slabs are used?
The FY 2026-27 slabs enacted by the Finance Act 2026 (no surcharge on salary income), with the FY 2025-26 slabs and their 9% surcharge selectable for comparison.
Are PPF, EPF and SSY rates fixed?
No. The government revises small-saving rates quarterly and EPF yearly, so the rate is an input you can edit.
Are the results guaranteed?
No. Results depend entirely on the numbers you enter and the formulas shown on this page. Please do not make financial decisions based on them alone; confirm important figures with a licensed professional.
